While the impacts of climate change affect all segments of society, disadvantaged groups can face greater risks and vulnerabilities. To strengthen the awareness and capacity of civil society organizations in addressing climate change through an inclusive approach, the “Climate Change and Disadvantaged Groups: Awareness Training for NGOs” will be held.
The training will cover the fundamental causes and impacts of climate change, its effects on disadvantaged groups, resilience and adaptation approaches, and the roles and responsibilities of NGOs in this process. Good practice examples will also be shared, providing an opportunity to explore how we can contribute together to a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable society.
